Keeping white lions isn’t any different from keeping brown lions. White lions want food and clean enclosures, too, and they want water and attention, too, just like their brown cousins.

Admittedly white lions need more grooming. Not only does His Majesty, King Tonga, require brushing at least once a day – every little bit of sawdust shows on his white coat – but he also insists on having his quarters so clean that he can eat from the floor.
