His time at the Circus Barum was a very special experience for Alexander Lacey. In 2002 Barum’s famous director Gerd Siemoneit-Barum retired. As an animal trainer, Siemoneit-Barum had always been one of Alexander’s idols, and so he felt very honoured to become his successor at the Circus Barum.

For four years Alexander and his cats traveled with Barum until the circus closed at the end of the 2006 season. Then Alexander found a new home at the Circus Charles Knie.
